Pure Via Review & Giveaway

The following post and giveaway is sponsored by FitFluential LLC on behalf of Pure Via. All opinions are my own.

Happy National Iced Tea Month! Yes it\’s a real thing! The lazy days of summer are upon us, and nothing is quite as refreshing as a tall glass of iced tea. I am a huge advocate of not drinking my calories – you know I love my fruit infused spa waters. After receiving my Summer Fit Kit from Pure Via it offered the perfect opportunity to try out their zero calorie sweeteners paired with a class of fruit infused tea.

Pure Via is an all-natural sweetener that is made with stevia and has zero calories. The Fit Kit included two types of Pure Via – individual serving packets of non-GMO Pure Via crystals and two different types of liquid drops, plain and vanilla (my favorite!) flavored. I love the indiviual packets paired with fruit and the liquid drops are fab in tea and coffee.

Infused tea is crazy delicious and simple to make. Just mixed up a pitcher of instant iced tea add your favorite fruit and refrigerate overnight or at least 2-3 hours. Don\’t forget to add a packet or two of Pure Via to your glass and enjoy!

Now here\’s your chance to WIN a Pure Via Summer Fit Kit which includes:
• 1 Box of Pure Via non-GMO packets
• 1 bottle of Pure via stevia liquid
• 1 bottle of Pure Via vanilla stevia liquid
• 1 container of instant iced tea
• 1 plastic Pure Via mason jar and straw
• 1 Pure Via pedometer
• 1 Pure Via SPF 15 lip balm.

DIY: Ombré Tote Bag

My parents recently brought me a gorgeous bouquet of peonies from their backyard the colors inspired me to create a striped ombré tote, that\’s become the perfect accessory at the farmers market. Just grab some painters tape (I love Frog Tape) and tape the bag into quarters. Paint in your desired colors, let dry and peel off the tape. Tote bags have never looked so chic.

Guacamole

I used to be scared of guacamole. Ordered all my Mexican food \”no guac or sour cream.\” Then about two weeks ago while out with a friend I forgot to ask for no guacamole, so I decided to try it. Seriously, I had never even taken a bite of it before or tried an avocado. With one bite my life changes and Mexican food reached all new heights for me. I actually asked the restaurant I was at for their recipe and they so kindly shared it. So here is Spanglish\’s recipe for Guacamole.

Spanglish Guacamole
Ingredients
3 ripe avocados
2 Roma tomaoes, diced
1 small red onion, diced
1 lime, juiced
1/4 cup cilantro, fresh
2-4 teaspoons salt
1 garlic clove, pressed

Directions
1. In a large bowl, mash avocados until desired consistency is reached.
2. Add diced tomatoes, diced onion, lime juice, cilantro, salt and garlic.
3. Mix completely.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at leash one hour to combine flavors.
5. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy.

Herb Garden

I absolutely love fresh herbs and this weekend I hit up Home Depot to buy some favorites — basil, thyme, rosemary, mint and lemon balm. I planted them in a window box, which is the perfect and easiest way to grow herbs.

Pet Health: Bug Bites

The bugs here are ridiculous especially the mosquitoes and black flies. Jack has gotten bit a few times (see pictures below), and to save you from wasting money on a vet trip I have a fabulous tip for you. Get some Skin So Soft (I paid $10 for a large bottle) from Avon dilute it with water and place it in a spray bottle. Spray it all over your dog especially their belly and groan area (the most sensitive where the bugs bite) at least once a day and mosquitoes, black flies and other bugs will leave your furbaby alone.
