DIY: Valentine\’s Dog Toy

It\’s no secret DIY projects are my favorite and lately I have been making Jack plenty of toys including this no sew fleece heart toy (made just like the no sew tie blankets). It\’s a quick and easy project that your pup is sure to love!

No Sew Heart Dog Toy
• Fleece (depends on how big or small you want your heart)
• Fabric scissors
• Poly-Fil Stuffing
• Pen
• Heart stencil (or freehand)

Step 1: Stack two layers of fleece on a flat surface and trace a heart shape with a pen.
Step 2: Keeping the two layers stacked, cut a squareabout 2 or 3 inches around the outside of the heart (you want enough length to double tie your knots).
Step 3: Cut two slits on the edge of the heart (Jack\’s was about the width of my thumb.
Step 4: Tie a knot in the top and bottom pieces. Double knot it to make sure it\’s secure.
Step 5: Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have 80% of the heart tied.
Step 6: With the small hole remaining fill the heart with the Poly-Fil or you can use your extra fleece as stuffing.
Step 7: Continue cutting and tying until the heart is completed.
Step 8: Trim the edges and start playing.

Always supervise your pet during playtime. This toy is not for rough chewing.
