Movie Review: Disney Flora and Ulysses

Disney\’s Flora and Ulysses was released on Disney Plus today, and I just had a chance to watch it. If you\’re looking for something to watch this weekend, I highly recommend checking out Flora and Ulysses, adorable, sweet, and it will give you all the feels. 

Heroes come in all different shapes and sizes. Sometimes you end up discovering them unexpectedly. In the latest Disney Plus release Flora and Ulysses, an unexpected superhero comes to life in a fun story. Based on the book by Kate DiCamillo, Flora and Ulysses is about an unlikely friendship between Flora a young girl who is superhero obsessed (thanks to her dad), and her new friend Ulysses a squirrel with superpowers. 

Like any good superhero, Ulysses has enemies, and when you\’re a squirrel those enemies are humans that just don\’t understand. This allows for some great comedic moments throughout the film. While I wouldn\’t recommend getting a squirrel as a pet (a cute stuffy of Ulysses is approved of though), I do recommend checking out Flora and Ulysses. The premise may sound silly, and it is, but it is everything light-hearted that we could use right now and will definitely keep the whole family entertained. 

I cannot recommend Flora and Ulysses enough. In fact, I told my mum to watch it and she just can\’t get enough of it!
