When February arrives all I can think about is; hearts and varies shades of pink. I combined my love for both to create this simple heart pillar candle. All you need is candles (I bought them from the dollar store), heart shaped cookie cutters and a wick.
Step 1: Select the colors you\’ll be using.
Step 2: Place in a pot filled with water and allow to boil until wax melts.
Step 3: Pour into cookie cutter molds.
Step 4: Freeze to harden wax, and pop it out of the mold.
Step 5: Place a hole in the center of each heart (I used wire).
Step 6: Insert the wick into your first one and pour on some white wax.
Step 7: Continue to add wax to each heart and stack until you reach the top.
Holiday’s are the perfect excuse to spoil your pup just a little bit more and Valentine’s Day is no exception. When Jack tried Honey Hearts from Three Dog Bakery it was love at first bite. The treats are sweetened with all-natural honey and cinnamon. Jack can’t keep his paws off them! Did I mention they are packaged in an adorable doghouse and only $6.99.

Blanket scarves have been on trend all winter long. I made a bunch for Christmas gifts and last weekend I picked up two yards of a bright cotton flannel plaid to brighten up my jacket through the rest of this polar vortex. By simply fraying the edges in no time you’ll have a fabulous blanket scarf in a color and pattern of your choice.
Material List:
2 yards of your chosen fabric. I used cotton flannel from Joann Fabrics (7.99 /per yard)
Measuring Tape
Scissors
Needle.
Step 1: Cut down the width of the fabric to 25” wide (x72” long). Use the fabric’s plaid grid as a guide when cutting your fabric to help you create straight, clean cuts.
Step 2: To create on the ends of the scarf, simply remove the fabric’s weft yarns (the yarns that run left to right) along the short side of the fabric. I used a needle to release the yarns. Continue removing yarns until you reach your desired fringe length. I decided on 1 ½” fringe.
Step 3: Repeat step 2 on the opposite end of the fabric. You should now have fringe on both of the short sides of the scarf.
HOURGLASS Femme Nude Lip Stylo No. 1. My favorite neutral lip color.
CND Solar Oil. This is the only thing saving my cuticles this winter.
Bedhead After Party. Has been keeping my hair silky smooth and controlling flyaway’s during this polar vortex.
