Land – Coming to Theaters February 2021

I typically do not share solo posts of upcoming movies, but the synopsis of this one resonated with me so much, I had to share it with you. Focus Features will be releasing Land in February of 2021, and I am already wishing it was February. 

\”A woman finds herself unable to stay connected to the world she once knew and in the face of uncertainty, retreats to the magnificent, but unforgiving, wilds of the Rockies.\” Does that sound like me or what? This whole quarantine I have been talking about wanting to retreat to the mountains because I felt like that is what I needed to make me feel whole and complete again. I am so excited to see Land, and now all I can think about is a mountain adventure.

Synopsis of Land:
From acclaimed actress Robin Wright comes her directorial debut LAND, the poignant story of one woman’s search for meaning in the vast and harsh American wilderness. Edee (Wright), in the aftermath of an unfathomable event, finds herself unable to stay connected to the world she once knew and in the face of that uncertainty, retreats to the magnificent, but unforgiving, wilds of the Rockies. After a local hunter (Demián Bichir) brings her back from the brink of death, she must find a way to live again.
