The dreary weather that consumed the weekend was not going to get me down. I made the weekend all about simple comforts. Watching my favorite romantic comedies, the smell of homemade bread baking in the bread machine and whipping up a batch of Neiman Marcus cookies. Of course I can’t forget the best way to combat bad weather, filling the house with fragrant flowers.What do you do on dreary weekends?

The Devil Wears Prada is one of my favorites! Lately, I've been spending my weekends on class assignments but am looking forward to that ending in just a couple months.

That sounds like a perfect way to spend a dreary weekend. I do much the same but I haven't broken out the bread machine in too long. I'll need to do that soon.When Harry Met Sally and It's Complicated to my dreary movie weekend list.

well, I didn't bake – but oh my I should have (especially bc I have a breadmaker)! But I pretty much did this entire weekend to a T! I watched 3 movies, hung out and pretended I was a blanket.

yucky weekends are the best for movie watching. I stayed in on Saturday and watched Drive for the second time. Such a great film.
