Ballet Flats… Love Them or Hate Them?

Flats can always make any outfit look classy and put together. I am only 4\’11 so I usually avoid flats and wear heels. However with flats in every single store I have myself wanting a pair. I began to try pairs on, and the problem I found is toe cleavage…. it\’s not a sexy look. Does anyone else have that problem? What is your favorite brand/pair of flats?

Can you believe I don't own a pair, but think they're pretty cute with the right outfit. 🙂

I love the Tory Burch flats and have had my eye on them now for a while! I want a pair so bad! I generally don't wear flats because I am short. However I do like to have a few nice pairs of flats on those days my feet just cannot stand to be in heels!

Love flats, especially when I want to be dressy but not have my feet hurt within an hour!

I'm exactly 5 ft and I feel the same way! I also have EXTREMELY high arches and flats just don't fit well- they give me blisters on the top of my feet, around the toe cleavage. they are cute, but not for me!

I have those exact black tory burch flats and love them. I'm 5'10\” and run around with 2 small kids, so ballet flats and flip flops are kind of my daily uniform 🙂

I am 5'2\” but LIVE in flats for work. Between training for a marathon and being clumsy/klutzy it is just a better option for me ;)I have several pairs from payless that I rotate…

Yes! Toe cleavage is not sexy! I also don't find ballet flats very comfortable, mainly because they don't support the arch. Regardless, I do wear them at conferences. So I ow one basic pair in black and another fun one in green 🙂

I find that the smallest amount of toe cleavage is most attractive on my feet. I have small, narrow feet. My favorite flats are Steve Madden, I'm up to 4 now in different colors and patterns…love them.

I love \”certain\” flats. The toe can't be too rounded. I've really been wanting a Tory Burch pair! I'm short too, so heels are definitely my favorite.

I get that toe clevege thing too and my feet are a little wider, so I'm really picky with my flats. Heels are not too comfy unless I have a wedge. I like to stick with my sperry's as much as I can, but when it comes to dressing up, i guess I lean more towards a flat.xo Juliap.s. i love your blog, i'm now following!

I have to say, I think I hate them. I thought I loved them, which is why I own a dozen pairs, but I almost never wear them. In the summer I wear sandals only, and when it gets colder, I prefer shoes that cover my feet. But they are cute, and sometimes I have to talk myself out of buying another pair I'm never going to wear.Chic on the Cheap
