Why my heels are in the freezer and nude is the new black
Have you ever found a pair of heels and absolutely fell in love? Over the weekend I was on a mission to find a pair of nude heels that were a beige with a touch of pink and also affordable. After spending a few hours at the mall I finally found the above pair at ALDO. The downside – they KILLED my pinky toe. However I bought them and was bound and determined to make them not hurt my baby toe.
I placed a baggy in the top of my shoe, filled it with water and placed it in the freezer overnight. The next morning I took my heels out of the freezer, pulled out the frozen baggy dried out my shoe and wore it around my house for about three hours.
The result: My heels stretched to fit MY FOOT.
There are some classic fashion pieces every girl should own. From the little black dress to the perfect pair of pumps. I am sure you already own at least one pair of black heels. Black is classy, goes with just about everything and is simple enough to dress you up or down. Black may be great, but when you just want to go that extra mile nude heels is the way to go – especially if you are petite like me they definitely give you some length. You already know I am a huge fan of the nude look, and recently talked about my love for nude nails. So let\’s talk about nude shoes.
Tips for buying
• Like nail polish nude heels can work for every skin tone. Just like you would with makeup you have to find the shade that works best for you. If you have darker skin you\’ll want to go for a chocolate or camel nude. If you are medium skin go for a tan and of course if you are lighter you\’ll want to find a light beige. One nude hue that works on everyone is a beige that has a kiss of pink.
• Just as I mentioned with nude polish you want a nude shade that is either one or two shades darker or lighter than your skin tone.
How to wear nude heels
• Nude like black is a neutral color which means it can be paired with almost anything, from your favorite pair of jeans or black dress pants to sundresses and shorts.
• I\’m too short to wear that dress…. shorts don\’t look good on me. Ever find yourself saying that? Well no more! Nude heels will lengthen your legs like no other. Kristin Chenoweth, Carrie Underwood, Eva Longoria and Kelly Ripa basically live in nude heels

OOO – shoes, my absolute fav topic.Let's not count the pairs of black heels I have. As for nude heels, I have 2 pair in camel (closer to my skin tone), 1 pair in taupe and 1 pair in pinkish taupe color. Is it just me or do nude heels feel like a great way to keep your outfits from being heavily anchored during the Spring/Summer seasons.

i wish i had seen this like two months ago!!!!!!!i bought a pair of nude heels that were GORGEOUS from aldo and they were basically too small. too lazy to take them back, i tried wearing them some, and stretching them out, but they always ended up hurting. i wish i had known about this! i have given them away aghhh!

No nude heels for me! I have only worn heels twice since I was pregnant with my son! I used to wear them all the time, and then I realized how comfortable flats were. Maybe I'll get back into them on date nights, when I'm not chasing my soon to be kids around 🙂

Wow! I have never heard of that trick. A lot of shoe stores will strech shoes for you if you ask. A couple of weeks ago I snagged a pair of nude heels, but needed a little extra room in the toes. They put them on the stretcher for me while I finished shopping. Fit perfectly!
