Since I receive a ton of questions and comments about Jack’s wardrobe I thought it was only appropriate to talk about his winter wear. Jack joined my family in November, and since frigid temperatures and a one-pound puppy do not mix well a jacket became a necessity. When temps dipped lower I decided on buying him a couple sweaters and from there Jack’s winter wardrobe just began to increase. Here is a peak at what the dapper doggy has been wearing for the past few months.

Quiche: Ham and Swiss

Lately I have had a serious craving for quiche lorraine, but after an intensive online search for the perfect recipe and finding nothing I called my mum for ideas/help. She told me about her ham and swiss quiche. The recipe was not only simple, but so delicious I might just make it again for dinner next week.

Ham & Swiss Quiche
Ingredients
2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
1 cup swiss cheese
¼ cup chopped green onions
½ cup Bisquick mix
1 cup 2% milk (or whole milk)
2 large eggs
dash of pepper

Directions
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Spray a 9-inch pie plate with non-stick cooking spray. Sprinkle ham, cheese and onions in pie plate and mix together.
3. Whisk Bisquick, milk, eggs and pepper until blended; pour into pie plate.
4. Bake 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
