I have always dreamed of being a dancer (especially during the holidays watching the nutcracker ballet and when Dancing with the Stars is on), but I lack the grace, flexibility and elegance that is needed. I think that is why I am so excited about Tocca\’s ballet inspired Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The collection features subtle colors: lemon yellow, pale pink and blue as well as leotards and pleated skirt combinations. It\’s a purely feminine and so far many other designers are showing very girly collections as well which has me wishing spring was here already. What do you think of this ballet inspired collection?
Have you ever cleaned your yoga mat? Between pilates on the beach, bikram yoga and body sculpt my mat has taken a bit of a sweaty and smelly beating this summer (I should of thought about cleaning it sooner). I started researching \’how to clean a yoga mat\’ and combined a variety of ideas to come up with what I think is the perfect mat cleaner.
Yoga Mat Clean:
1 part white vinegar
3 parts filtered water
1 teaspoon tea tree oil
15-30 (depending on preference) drops essential oil (lemon, peppermint, lavender, thyme..whatever you like)
1. Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake.
2. Spray your mat and let it sit for 10 minutes.
3. Wipe down with a towel
To make:
1. Peel the bananas.
2. Cut in half.
3. Insert a stick into the cut end.
4. Freeze on parchment or waxed paper for at least one hour.
5. Melt your chocolate (I like to use peanut butter as well)
6. Spoon the chocolate over your frozen bananas
7. Be sure to add your toppings immediately as the bananas set up quickly.
8. Enjoy right away or place back in the freezer and enjoy within one week of making.
