Michigan never ceases to amaze me with all the different things this great state can grow. While Holland, Michigan, may be known for the tulip festival, there is another flower you can find throughout the lower and upper peninsula of Michigan…lavender. Peak lavender season is typically end of June, July and August. Below is a list of some lavender farms throughout the state.
Bonus don’t forget to check out the Michigan Lavender Festival June 23rd – 25th, 2023, at the Eastern Michigan State Fair Grounds in Imlay City.
Reminder, if you go to any of these farms, fields, or festivals, please be respectful. Don’t just cut flowers without permission or paying for them if it is a U-Pick Farm.
