Can you believe it’s already November, and we fell back an hour? Yikes, I can’t either. With winter right around the corner I am trying to savor what is left of fall color and trips to the cider mill. This weekend I was at
Yates Cider Mill (my favorite, I highly recommend going if you’ve never been before), and saw that they have donut sundaes. It was 9 a.m., and I wasn’t about to start my day with ice cream, so I didn’t get it. That evening I was at my parents watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and was craving something sweet so I decided to make us our own donut sundaes. We used a cinnamon and sugar donut from Yates, topped it with
Hudsonville Creamery Blend Vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of
Sanders caramel, dash of cinnamon and a cinnamon stick for decoration. The best part, all of the products were made in Michigan!
