Friday Things- Kentucky Derby Party Edition

 {homemade derby hat sugar cookies}
The Kentucky Derby is this weekend, and I couldn’t be more delighted. Not only am I excited to see what everyone is wearing at the Derby (especially the hats!), but I am hosting a party as well. Here is a glance at some elements of my Derby party.

 {derby hat for second half of the party}
 {party favor: mint julep vase with junior mints}
 {party polish: Pandora by Zoya}
{individual bottles of PURE LEAF Sweet Tea}
I have no idea how to make \”Southern Sweet Tea\”, and when I tried it tasted awful. PURE LEAF\’s Sweet Tea taste perfectly homemade and the individual bottles are a classic touch.

  1. Girl, you should have asked me about making sweet tea! Your ML hat is too cute–love the scarf/tie around it. The vase and mints–adorable! I hope you have a wonderful party!

  5. I love sweet tea and since my family is from the south, I am a pro at it:-) I love those cookies! so cute. And of course I have always wanted to go to the Derby. I went to a Derby event where I live last year and got to wear a cute dress and big ol hat…LOLI tried mint juleps and I think they are awful. I really don't know why people like them
