How to Transition your Wardrobe from Summer to Fall

Making the transition from a summer wardrobe to fall doesn\’t have to be a pain. Try my three outfit inspirations below for a smooth transition into chillier temperatures.
The first few weeks in fall are usually still warmer temperatures. So keep your summer handbag out pair it with jeans, heels and a simple white tee accented with a scarf.
Keep your summer dress in the mix by laying it with a jacket once the weather gets cooler. Pair it with boots, a matching handbag and a scarf so a polished and chic look.

Create a monochromatic look with a pop of color by wearing a bright colored tee or tank top paired with a scarf, cardigan, black wedges and a black, gray or white handbag.

  1. Fabulous tips and outfits!! I slowly transition to fall fashion by adding more layers. I always hate to see the bright colors of summer go, but I love navy and black and browns for fall. I am also loving all the pumpkin colored pieces this fall!Have a fabulous monday!

  2. I cannot wait for fall. That being said, I plan on adding cardigans, tights and more pieces like that to transition my wardrobe. Its easy to take a lovely color like yellow, and wear it for 3 seasons.

  3. Great tips! I've been trying to figure out how to keep my pretty summer dress in my wardrobe once the weather cools off. I think boots are the way to go! I don't know if I have a jacket that goes with it but I'm thinking a longer sweater with a nice little belt should do the trick! Happy Monday 🙂

  5. Love these ideas…it's always fun, but challenging, to transition from summer to fall. Pulling out the jeans after several months of breezy dresses and skirts is always tough! 🙂
