Old Fashioned Handkerchief Doll
My mum was a Brownie Girl Scout troop leader and we always made a lot of crafts. Recently meeme reminded me of this adorable handkerchief doll that we made. I just had to share it with you. These elegant looking \”dolls\” are simple to make and you can decorate with any color ribbon or flowers. These would be perfect bridal shower gifts or a gift for all the girls in your family. I figured showing pictures would be the easiest way to show how to make the handkerchief doll. If you have any specific questions please feel free to email me. xo
What you need
• Hankerchiefs
• Stuffing
• Ribbon
• Flowers to match your ribbon
• lace for around the head
• thread for tying
• scissors
{take a piece of stuffing about the size of your hand and form a ball}
{place your stuffing ball 1/3 of the way down the handkerchief}
{squeeze tight, form the head and tie tightly}
{lay the doll out so you can make the arms}
{once both arms are tied your doll will look like the above photo}
{tie your front arms together}
{now its time to start decorating}
