A collection for all seasons

One of my favorite beauty items is nail polish. From bolds and brights to nudes, golds and everything in between my polish goes with my outfit or my mood. Dr.\’s Remedy recently released their summer collection called \”Hot Hot Hot Summer Shades\” Dr.\’s Remedy Enriched Nail Polish is free from harsh toxins to promote healthier, stronger nails and is the first ever nail polish on the market approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association.  {Lovely}
Lovely is a pale lilac shade that I am absolutely loving. I think that this hue is more of a spring shade, and definitely a must have color for attending a garden party!
 {Glee}

Glee is a dusty shimmer gold and is a pretty color for summer. However I think Glee would be a must have shade for fall!

 {Tranquil}

Tranquil is a shimmery tangerine hue that reminds me of the sun as it is setting over the water.  I absolutely adore this shade and think it\’s perfect for a day spent beach side.

 {Bold}

Bold is an ice blue shade with a splash of glitter. While I do feel like this color would look pretty against a blue ocean, lake or pool. I feel like this color would be perfect for winter. I have never really found an icy blue shade before that I absolutely loved for winter and this one is now my absolute favorite. You will definitely be seeing this on my nails come December.

{Nurture}

Nurture is of course my favorite color in the collection. It is a delicate nude pinky peach. If you love pink, peach or nude polishes I definitely think you need this color in your nail polish collection. This shade is feminine and would look lovely against any skin tone.

My overall thoughts
I feel if you look at this collection as a summer collection it fails. If you look at each individual polish it\’s amazing and is definitely a collection that would get you through all of the seasons with style and class.

  1. I agree with you about it being a collection, the colors don't really go together but the individual colors are gorgeous! I love that nuture shade such a simple neutral shade!

  4. I have to say I prefer \”Glee\” and \”Tranquil\” – I think they'd look the best on my toes, esp with a nice summer tan!

  7. I really like the lilac and the nude one. But I must agree, not so sure about the collection as a whole. That being said, it's great that they are promoting nail polish free of toxins, etc.

  13. I LOVE painting my nails, but I am not a fan of the chemicals either. How does this polish hold up? Does it chip easily?

  15. I'm loving both Lovely and Nuture but I could live without the rest of the collection. I'd love to hear how well this varnish wears…I'm always a chip waiting to happen.
