Dr. Pepper BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
• 12 oz. Dr. Pepper (NOT DIET)
• 1/2 c. ketchup
• 1/4 c. lemon juice
• 1/4 c. orange juice (I used Trop 50)
• 2 Tblsp. BBQ sauce (I used Original Open Pit)
• 2 Tblsp. brown sugar
• 2 Tblsp. worcestershire
• 1 Tblsp. Molasses
Directions
• Mix all ingridents together in a pot. Simmer until thick 45 minutes to 1 hour.
*note: this bbq sauce is meant to be used on the bbq for the best flavor. It taste completely different once it\’s been on the bbq then it does from the pan.

I actually found a 'Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce' in a store and tried it out. It really didn't taste special, but maybe your recipe is better. Homemade usually is 🙂

I've made a Cheerwine barbeque sauce before that was really good. Cheerwine is a cherry soda that you can only get in the south!
