Snickerdoodle

Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients
• 1.5 c. sugar
• 1 c. salted butter, softened
• 2 large eggs
• 2 3/4 c. flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 2 tsp. cream of tartar
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/4 c. sugar
• 1 Tbls. cinnamon

Directions
• Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream the 1.5 cups sugar, butter and eggs together in a large bowl.
• In another bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
• Add flour mixture to creamed mixture and mix until well combined.
• In a small bowl mix remaining sugar and cinnamon
• Shape dough into balls and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place two inches apart on a non-stick cookie sheet.

Bake 7-8 minutes or until done.

  2. I love gifting cookies in cute little bags… people always seem more impressed when you put effort into the packaging as well! I think my favorite cookie would involve white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts… and lots of 'em!!

  4. Cream of tar tar? I only put it in meringues (which dipped in chocolate are my favourite cookie). I will have to make your recipe. yum!

  5. Those look delicious! I love Snickerdoodles but I've never made them because I got overwhelmed by the amount of recipes out there! I'll definitely be trying this one! Thanks for sharing 🙂

  7. I really love snicker doodles and I've never made them! My favorite cookie is actually sugar. A big drop sugar cookie- fantastic. The bags are adorable

  8. I am usually a huge chocolate chip cookie fan. Actually, I just love cookies. I have never found a great snickerdoodle recipe and these look soft and yummy. I can't wait to try!Susan
