Jalapeno Poppers

Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers
Ingredients:

Fresh Jalapenos, 2-3 Inches In Size
Cream Cheese, softened (I used fat free)
Bacon (I used Turkey Bacon), Sliced Into Thirds

Directions:
1. Cut jalapenos in half, length-wise. I would recommend wearing gloves with chopping and scrapping – if you touch your eyes you\’ll definitely be having a bad day. With a spoon, remove the seeds and white membrane. Smear softened cream cheese into each jalapeno half. Wrap jalapeno with bacon pieces (1/3 slice).  Secure by sticking toothpick through the middle.
2. Bake on a pan covered in foil at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.  Serve immediately, or they\’re great at room temperature.

  1. I love English Muffin Pizza! Lately I have been making the same thing but on those 100-cal bagels and I load on the veggies 🙂

  4. Yes, use gloves! I learned the hard way and my hands burned for hours after my first time chopping jalapenos.I tried all the remedies I could find on google. Even smothering my hands in toothpaste which I thought was weird and nothing helped. ugh, I'll never make that mistake again. LOL
