Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of experiencing something I had never tried before โ Earthy Botanical Mobile Barโs mocktails during their pop-up at Good Grounds Coffee in Almont. As someone who doesnโt drink alcohol, Iโm always on the lookout for exciting, healthy alternatives to the typical sugary mocktails found at most bars and restaurants. Letโs be real: those drinks are often filled with junk, artificial dyes, and flavors. But Earthy Botanical Mobile Bar? Thatโs an entirely different story!

I was immediately drawn to the menu, which offers a refreshing variety of mocktails made with organic, regenerative herbs and botanical ingredients. The two drinks I decided to try were the Seasonal Carrot Ginger Hopper and the Tropical Ocean, which the owner (who I had the pleasure of chatting with) mentioned was a customer favorite.

The Carrot Ginger Hopper was a delightful mix of earthy and spicy, with the perfect balance of carrot and ginger. It was refreshing, vibrant, and comforting โ a true seasonal treat. But what really stole the show was the Tropical Ocean. This drink was like a tropical vacation in a glass, with fresh and zesty flavors that took my taste buds on an adventure.

And hereโs the kicker: my mum, who is notoriously picky when it comes to trying new things, ended up stealing my Tropical Ocean! Now, if that doesnโt say something about how amazing this drink is, I donโt know what does. My mum rarely steps out of her comfort zone when it comes to food and drink, so the fact that she loved this mocktail enough to take it from me is a huge testament to how delicious Earthy Botanicalโs creations are.

What truly sets Earthy Botanical Mobile Bar apart is its commitment to wellness and quality. Founded by a passionate Latina Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, the mobile bar was created with a vision to offer healthier alternatives to traditional social drinks. The founder, Karla, with the support of her husband Diego, transformed a vintage 1981 horse trailer into a wellness mobile bar.
Whatโs even more impressive is the high-quality ingredients used in every mocktail. These drinks are not your typical sugary concoctions; theyโre made with organic, regenerative herbs, homemade syrups. There are no artificial ingredients, colors, or flavors here โ just pure, wholesome ingredients straight from Mother Nature. The mocktails are designed not only to taste great but also to support overall well-being.
Earthy Botanical Mobile Bar isnโt just about offering a good drink; itโs about creating an experience. In a world where alcohol is often the centerpiece of social gatherings, this mobile bar is helping to shift the focus to wellness and genuine connection. Whether youโre at a pop-up event like I was or hiring the bar for a private gathering, Earthy Botanicalโs mocktails make it possible to enjoy a fun, delicious drink without compromising your health or well-being.
For those of us who want to savor the beauty of social gatherings while nurturing our bodies, Earthy Botanical Mobile Bar is a breath of fresh air. Every sip is an opportunity to reconnect with nature, with good company, and with ourselves.
If you havenโt had the chance to experience Earthy Botanical Mobile Bar yet, I highly recommend checking out their website at earthykrave.com/mobile-bar/ to learn more. Whether you’re planning an event or looking for a pop-up to visit, this wellness-focused mobile bar is the perfect way to elevate your mocktail game.

Whether you’re lounging in the park, grabbing a bite at a nearby cafรฉ, or taking in the impressive architecture, this lively area offers plenty to do.

As sports lovers, we couldn’t leave Detroit without stopping by Comerica Park to check out the iconic Tiger statue outside the ballpark. Known as one of the most recognizable landmarks in Detroit, the enormous tiger statue is a beloved symbol of the cityโs history and love for baseball.
Even if youโre not attending a game, taking a moment to snap a photo with the tiger is a must. Itโs a fun and lighthearted way to immerse yourself in Detroitโs sports culture and a great photo op with friends.
Location: 2100 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI

Our final stop of the weekend was at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions. Right outside the stadium stands the iconic Barry Sanders statue, paying tribute to one of the greatest running backs in NFL history. The statue captures Sanders in mid-run, showcasing his dynamic playing style that made him a legend in Detroit and beyond.

If youโre looking for a movie thatโs going to warm your heart and stay with you long after the credits roll, look no further than Ballad of Wallis Island. While the movieโs previews may not do it justice, this film is an unexpected treasure that will captivate you from start to finish. Itโs a feel-good, heartwarming journey that truly caught me off guard, and I couldnโt be more thrilled to share my thoughts ahead of its theatrical release on Friday, March 28th.

The movie exceeded every expectation I had. From the outset, I was drawn into the world of Ballad of Wallis Island, a place that feels so real and lived-in, yet magical at the same time. From the soft, soothing melodies to the more energetic beats, the soundtrack resonates throughout the movie, adding depth to the story and its emotional moments.
But what really makes this movie unforgettable is Tim Keyโs performance as Charles. He isnโt just a key figure in the plotโheโs the key to the movieโs greatness. Tim Key brings a depth and sincerity to his role that is simply out of this world. Heโs the emotional anchor of the film, and every moment heโs on screen feels completely genuine. His performance is the beating heart of Ballad of Wallis Island, and itโs impossible not to be moved by his portrayal of Charles.
What sets Ballad of Wallis Island apart is how it stays with you long after youโve left the theater. Itโs not just a feel-good film in the momentโitโs one that leaves you reflecting on the characters, their journeys, and the warmth that the film radiates.
