Since I am staying in Michigan at my parents house until February I spent the week working on our friendship gifts. (one of my goals for 2012 is already complete – learning to crochet!) I had to make sure that I had enough for our guest that will be over next weekend for our Pampered Chef party! If you\’d like to order anything from Pampered Chef, please let me know! I\’ll have a post up about it next week! This weekend I am going to be trying out a couple new recipes. What are you up to this weekend?

January Friendship Gift

My mum always taught me that you never show up at someone\’s house empty handed, and you never let someone leave your house empty handed. Whenever anyone stops by my home I always make sure they go home with a friendship gift. The gift is something inexpensive, but thoughtful. Each month I have a new friendship gift for my guest to go home with.

2012 Color of the Year…. Tangerine Tango

Knock knock. Who\’s there? Orange! Orange who? Orange\’ya glad tangerine tango is the official color of 2012, according to the Pantone Color Institute. Not only does this reddish-orange shade look great as an accessory accent, but it looks fabulous paired with neutrals or as an outfit. You can\’t forget how gorgeous it looks on your lips and nails too! With a tan or a dark complexion this color will look gorgeous on you. What do you think of Tangerine Tango?
