Dying Easter Eggs

Did anyone else dye eggs for Easter? A and I did, and even though Easter is over I had to share our eggcellent masterpieces.

Kroger Prep + Pared: Coconut Curry Chicken

Anyone else a huge fan of date nights that involve food? One thing I really appreciate about Andrew is how adventurous our eating is – from home cooked meals to eating out sometimes thinking outside the box really makes the meal. You\’ve read about our love for Kroger\’s Prep + Pared Meal Kits and this week we gave the Coconut Curry Chicken a try, and let me tell you the flavor was amazing. The Coconut Curry Chicken box came with Lemongrass Chutney, Toasted Rice + Green Beans for a culinary explosion of flavor. The kit included everything we needed to create a restaurant quality meal at a fraction of the cost.

55 Days Until Memorial Day

Anyone else focusing on that beach bod? In just 55 days it will be the unofficial start to summer. Kind of scary, but it gives me plenty of time to get my body ready for sunny days on the beach and of course A’s boat. Since I really like seeing what workouts others are doing and what they’re eating, I thought I would pay it forward and do the same. In an effort to not turn my blog into a health zone, I am going to stick with posting the health and fitness aspect of my life each Tuesday (which is what I have been doing for the past couple of years now). If you want to see what I am eating daily, how I am meal prepping, my workouts and more head over to my fitness account on Instagram.

Goals for the next 55 days
Drink at least 65 ounces of water per day
Focus on eating clean
Meal prep
Workout at least 6 days a week
Focus on my core
Build a more round and firm booty
Limit sugar intake
Avoid processed foods

Working out at home takes discipline, and while I am capable of working out at home I just don’t push myself like I should. Therefore, I committed the next three months to an all babe studio, and I am hoping to get some killer results. I took pictures this morning and will post before and after at the 55 day mark.

Easter 2018

The ground began to shake, the stone was rolled away, his perfect love could not be overcome – forever He is Risen. Hope you all had a Hoppy Easter. I started my morning bright eyed and bushy tailed with a trip to church, and then headed to my parents house for Easter brunch. This was the first year that Meeme was not with us for Easter, and let me tell you it definitely was not the Easter I know. Papa started eating immediately, therefore we didn’t say grace (super annoyed with this – yes I did say them in my head – not the point), no one yelled at me to not throw the frosting from my cake out…etc. My mum did a beautiful job creating a Victorian brunch, but all together it was a strange vibe, so Jackers and I found our way outside where we soaked up vitamin D.  Here’s what brunch looked like…
