Peach Cobbler

Growing up in Michigan once August came around it was time for some absolutely gorgeous and juicy peaches. Over the weekend I bought an abundance of peaches and of course had to come up with a peach cobbler recipe and share it with you.

Peach Cobbler
For the peach filling
• 6 peaches, peeled, pitted & sliced
• 1 Tbls. lemon juice
• 1 c. + 2 Tbsp. sugar
• 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
• 3 Tbsp. corn starch

For the cobbler topping
• 1.25 c. Bisquick mix
• 1/4-1/2 c. milk
• 3 Tbsp. sugar
• 1.5 Tbsp. butter (melted)

Directions
• Combine the peaches, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and corn starch in a large bowl. Set aside for 30 minutes.
• Pre-heat oven to 350.
• Mix the Bisquick mix, milk, sugar and butter together.
•  Pour the peaches into a 9 x 9 baking dish. Drop the cobbler topping dough by the spoonful all over the peach filling.
• Bake for 20-30 minutes. Or until cobbler topping is golden brown and not doughy.
• Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
