Barb and Star is absolutely ridiculous in every shape and form, but it\’s everything my girlfriends and I needed right now. Check out my review of Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar for more movie details.
Since heading to the movies with my besties isn\’t possible right now, the next best thing was us all watching Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar and being in a group Instagram chat that definitely promoted some hilarious conversations and a whole lot of love for Edgar.
I received a surprise Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar package in the mail the day of the watch party, and you know me I love a good theme and \”take-home gift.\” I had already planned on dropping off a container that says \”popcorn\” and a bag of Sweetheart Popcorn from my favorite local popcorn place to everyone that was local just to sweeten the movie-watching experience. I also added candy hearts (that featured sayings from the movie), coloring sheets, colored pencils, and wine charms.
I think the candy hearts were the biggest hit!
I watched the movie with my mum and of course, you can\’t have a movie without popcorn and sweets, so I created a Barb and Star themed charcuterie board (buried treasure not included).
Since you read about my movie thoughts here, I thought I would share some messages that my friends sent out during the watch party:
\”I wish I named my kid yo-yo\” – \”You can name your next dog yo-yo\” – \”Yessss\”
\”Goodbye, Mr. Grey and hellllo Edgar\”
\”Trish enough said haha\”
\”I can\’t wait to get sloppy on vacation again\”
\”I have never left Michigan before, I am basically Barb and Star without the risk\”
\”This movie so ridiculous, I am obsessed\”
\”Can I be Trish?\”
\”I just snorted from laughing so hard\”
\”Ladies you all have so much shimmer\”
\”I buying this B*%@^ as soon as it comes out\”
\”Where do I sign up for a soul douche – I need it, NOW\”
