Pumpkin Spice Latte Sugar Scrub

I was at a high-end beauty boutique the other day and found a line of drink inspired sugar scrubs that smelled absolutely divine, especially the pumpkin spice latte sugar scrub. They were, however very expensive. So when I got home I decided to have a go at making my own. The result was fabulous and the recipe is simple as well, not to mention these would make adorable holiday gifts.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Sugar Scrub
Ingredients
2 cups brown sugar
1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground clove
½ teaspoon ground allspice
1 tablespoon ground coffee (I used pumpkin spice coffee)
½ cup coconut oil

Directions
1. Add the coconut oil to a mixer and whip until it becomes the consistency of frosting.
2.  Add in the brown sugar, cinnamon, clove, allspice and ground coffee and whip to combine.
3. That’s it! Store in an airtight container.

Mini Apple Pies

What\’s better on a chilly fall day than a slice of warm apple pie? Here is a recipe for perfectly portioned pieces of pie that will only take you 15 minutes to make.

Mini Apple Pies
Ingredients
12 Wonton Wrappers
3-5 medium apples, peeled and diced into small chunks (add lemon juice to prevent browning)
½ cup sugar + cinnamon (to taste)
1-2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter
2-3 tablespoons flour

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 12 cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
2. Line with wonton wrappers and spray wonton wrappers with cooking spray.
3. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
4. In a skillet combine diced apples with cinnamon and sugar mixture, brown sugar and butter.
5. Bake apples into they are tender (I like mine with a crunch still)
6. Add flour as needed to thicken up juices.
7. Add mixture to baked wonton wrappers (you can heat in the microwave as needed).
8. Serve with whipped topping or ice cream
