Quick and Easy Apple Cider Donuts

Can you believe it, Thanksgiving is tomorrow! I know, I can\’t either. When I lived in Pittsburgh (Canonsburg to be exact), I met an amazing couple who taught me how to do some serious cooking. One thing that Barb taught me to make was quick and easy donuts. No joke, these donuts are so simple to make they\’re perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas morning and even if people just randomly stop by.

All you need is Pillsbury Grands Flaky Rolls and oil.
To make:
1. Open the Pillsbury Grands Flaky Rolls.
2. Cut out a circle in the center.
3. The centers can be fried up as donut holes.
4. Heat oil to 350 degrees.
5. Cook in the oil until each side is golden brown.
6. Place on a cooling rack.
7. Serve warm.
Can be reheated for 7-15 seconds in a microwave.





Review: 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2.4 SEL AWC

I received the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2.4 SEL AWC for seven days in exchange for an honest review.

Recently, I was given the opportunity to test drive the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2.4 SEL AWC. Living in Michigan the weather is so unpredictable, the week began with warmer temperatures followed by rain, snow, sleet and anything else thrown in between – which made it the perfect time to give this car a test drive. For the most part I really enjoyed the car, however like everything else there were some things I did not like. I personally felt like it offered a very bumpy ride, and was hard to handle on windy days especially on an expressway.

Heated seats warmed up quickly, which was great on those 30 degree mornings.

Easy to read.

 Temperature control, even offers automatic climate control.

Absolutely love the fact that there are USB plugs, which will connect you to Apple Play.

A brand new feature for me that I have never seen in a car before is the fact that you can change where the headlights beam. For instance lower, higher, wide, narrow giving you the perfect view while you\’re driving. Not to mention this pretty little thing lets you know when a car is in your blind spot (love this feature), when you are too close to a car and even when you exit a lane.

Love that it says the roads are possibly icy.

Large screen is easy to navigate, however a little difficult to select things sometimes. I did however love the large screen when it came to the backup camera.

 Easily change to 4WD with the push of a button.

You wouldn\’t guess it from looking at the Outlander, but it actually has a ton of trunk space.

Zoya Stocking Stuffers

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is the stocking. I love all the goodies that my mum would put in it from chapsticks and lip-gloss, to nail polish and socks every year it was filled with the sweetest little gifts. Coming to Detroit: The Play That Goes Wrong

Attention Detroiters, this Sunday, November 18 tickets go on sale for The Play That Goes Wrong. Don\’t feel bad if you\’ve never heard of this show either, I am in the same boat. However it is said to be a hilarious Tony Award-winning Broadway comedy hit, and who couldn\’t use a good laugh in the middle of winter? The Play That Goes Wrong will be making its Detroit debut at the Fisher Threatre, February 12-24, 2019 and tickets will start at $44.

 
Co-written by Mischief Theatre company members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, The Play That Goes Wrong is a riotous comedy about the theatre. The play introduces The ‘Cornley University Drama Society’ who are attempting to put on a 1920s’ murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong…does, as the accident-prone thespians battle on against all odds to get to their final curtain call.
 
Entertainment Weekly calls The Play That Goes Wrong “Hilarious! Non-stop pandemonium.” The Huffington Post calls it “The funniest play Broadway has ever seen!” And the New York Post says it’s “Broadway’s funniest and longest-running play! Nothing is as fall down funny. GO.”
 
The Broadway production of The Play That Goes Wrong opened at the Lyceum Theatre on April 2, 2017. The show, which was slated to close on Broadway in August of this year, will extend its run due to popular demand through January 6, 2019. By then, the Broadway production will have played 27 previews and 745 performances, making it the 2nd longest running show in the history of the Lyceum Theatre. The Play That Goes Wrong received a Tony Award for Best Set Design, Broadway.com’s Audience Choice Award for Best Play, and the Theater Fans Choice Award for Best Play.
