The Valentine’s Charcuterie Workshop with the lovely ladies of Graze Queens took place in Marine City, Michigan and offered hands on experience and expert guidance to create the perfect romantic spread.

When I sat down in my spot, everything I needed to create a romantic masterpiece was in front of me. I had my own cutting board to use, two knives, everything i needed to create my charcuterie board was separated in dishes in front of me. Which as someone who is on the germaphobe spectrim, I really appreciated this.

I gained skills in the art of crafting a perfect charcuterie board that ignites passions and indulges the senses. We used a curated selection of cheese, meats, fruit and sweet treats. I gained knowledge in when to use which knife, how to properly cut cheese, how to cut strawberries into heart shapes and how to make the cutest kiwis. We also explored the importance of fillers like nuts, rosemary, mint and more to make the board feel full and beautiful. Plus, the ladies shared a little knowledge on edible flowers, yes those pretty roses and mums on my board are in fact edible.
